K-5 Elementary Corrections and Revisions Guide 23-24 SY
General Information
When students do poorly, it is important that they have an opportunity to improve their understanding and demonstrate relearning. Checking your student’s grade book daily and completing relearning on a weekly basis is best practice and highly encouraged for student success.
Resetting assessments is only used only in very specific instances. Instead, students may complete relearning lessons in order to help them review, practice, and improve their understanding of the material.
The below relearning can be submitted and does not require prior permission. IEPs or 504 plans that contain specific details for relearning supersede this policy.
**Please be sure to always check the message board and/or lesson introduction page for any modified or adjusted rubrics. Some assignments have updated rubrics not found in the direct lesson, will be used for grading.**

All Relearning Must Be Submitted by the Following Dates
23/24 SY Update: Students may only submit corrections on assignments that were DUE and SUBMITTED prior to the end of each quarter (see dates below). If a student is behind in a course and submits an old assignment for the first time after the new quarter starts, the student will earn the grade they received upon first submission and will not be eligible to make corrections.
